Project Assurance

Preventative or recovery – before you spend any money, talk to us.   How do you ask the right questions?

Business change projects that include technology components can be fraught with difficulty.  This package aims to review the project, covering scope awareness, governance, and capability to help assess the chances of successful delivery.  Aimed at giving assurance before projects hit the rocks, the final report will highlight key actions needed to ensure the project will stay on track and deliver.

Using our star maturity approach we will consider with you, aspects such as:

  • Approach to risk management
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Operational Engagement
  • Financial and Return on Investment
  • Change Management
  • Management of Scope
  • Vision and Mission understanding
  • Planning
  • Business Analysis

Why assess?

It has always amazed me how little the problems we face have changed when working in a technology sphere.  The content of the projects will have changed dramatically and instead of just automating internal processes we are now automating the direct services to our customers.

Unfortunately, the technologist world has not yet become an authenticated and assessed profession.  In many cases the technologists in an organisation are the longest serving staff and have learnt their profession in just one organisation.   Does your technology organisation have any of the following symptoms?

  • Every process involved in accessing technology services seems lengthy and unnecessary
  • Projects take too long, and you don’t seem to get the benefits
  • Your technology team doesn’t engage (or doesn’t get to engage) in strategic decisions
  • You don’t know your service desk, or you know one person well and insist on using that person

If these symptoms sound familiar, firstly you are not alone … but you may want to do something about it.   We can help you get to the root cause and to identify what needs to be done, in practical terms, to help your organisation be ‘digitally ready’.
